So nVidia made good on its promise to support nvidia340 until end of 2019 :)

They have now released an updated driver that officially supports all kernels atleast up to 5.4 series :)

Installed and tested without issues.

Tested for a few hours, mostly with some steam and non-steam games but also tested WebGL and glmark2.



System: Mageia 7, x86_64, Plasma DE, LXQt DE, Intel CPU, nVidia Geforce 210 using nvidia340 proprietary driver.

Tested on one system under both 32 and 64 bit, general usage (Plasma 5, a few simple games, general use, Youtube videos) No regressions noted.
