Description of problem: New physical fields package. This program using adaptive higher-order finite element methods (hp-FEM) for solve electrostatic fields, magnetic fields, heat transfer and similarly. This program using graphic QT4 interface (it may using in schools with basic skills) Name of program: Agros2D Home page of project: http://hpfem.org/agros2d/ Making: https://github.com/hpfem/agros2d/blob/master/README comment: This program use external package, but only Hermes2d, triangle and dxf-lib are not in core repositories of mageia. If you are use "git clone git://github.com/hpfem/agros2d.git" for downloading sources for Agros2D, Hermes2D and dxf-lib will be downloaded too. Licence: GNU General Public License v2
@ colin When I saw the "acoustics" picture here http://hpfem.org/agros2d/ I had to think of you. Is there a chance that this software would be interesting for you?

Yes. One thing why I will use this software is thermal bridges (2D heat flows) which are defined in the EN ISO 10211, directive 2002/91/EC or other standards. But this specific function is not implemented, for now. Lot of Technical University have Faculty of Civil Engineering and on this fakulty I learned about acoustic in buildings, roads... , energy performance of buildings,.....

I'll have a look.

Unassigning myself as I'm not actively working on it currently (still interested though).

@ the reporter of this request: Please tell us whether you still need this package. I'm now assigning it to the new default assignee for package requests, but wouldn't want anyone to spend time on it if it is no longer needed.
