Installed all the packages and rebooted smoothly but not to the new kernel. First time that has happened in a long while. Ran 'drakboot --boot' and rebooted.
OK this time. glmark2 still does not run.

virtualbox launched a client successfully. firefox insisted on a password then a confirmation code having found a password which was acceptable. Good job I always write down my passwords. Hehe!

Everything working so far.

Putting this on hold a bit as I've submitted a kernel-5.3.7-4.mga7 that fixes iwlwifi firmware crach on 3168 series wireless ac (mga bug 25609)

That's the only change from -3.mga7, so tests in comment 1 & 2 is still considered valid

I think it's got stuck Thomas
Comment 5 Thomas Backlund 2019-10-25 14:25:30 CEST
Nope, its just the aarch64 buildnodes that kept failing network access yesterday, so the builds failed and got rescheduled over and over again...

It's now building on a freshly booted scwaarch642 node, so it should be done sometimes later tonight...

Desktop kernel tested, all OK mga7 64. Confirmed fix for bug 25609.

Vbox ok,suspend/resume ok, nothing odd to report.

xtables-addons tested as below, which I _think_ is valid if no errors.

NVIDIA GK107M [GeForce GT 650M] driver: nvidia v: 430.50

Before updating checked dmesg for iwlwifi errors - none registered.

Upated desktop kernel packages. nvidia driver rebuilt.
Mate DE running fine.
Ran a couple of perf memory benchmark tests - thanks Claire for bringing perf, cpupower and iptables to our attention. Never think to test them. Results OK.

stress tests ran to conclusion, glmark2 running.
32-bit mga5 client running in virtualbox.
wifi and NFS shares OK. Laptop session recovered after lid closed and opened.

Something weird happened just now though. Drag and drop suddenly failed for emacs and this report had to be displayed in a terminal for copying.
