Comment 2 peter lawford 2019-10-24 14:05:28 CEST
I've finally solved the problem by successively achieving the three commands:
1) dnf remove kicad
removed the 4 pkgs kicad-5.1.2
2) dnf --refresh upgrade
didn't take into account the upgrading of kicad
3) dnf install kicad
installed the 4 pkgs kicad-5.1.4
Comment 3 Lewis Smith 2019-10-24 21:37:56 CEST
Thank you for your initiative in beating the problem.
I was going to suggest this sort of thing, particularly doing the update excluding (but not removing) kicad*; and then updating just those packages.
Or letting the routine system updates do the job rather than using
urpmi --auto-update , and see whether the same thing happened.

As you have resolved the actual problem, we can close the bug. (You can do this yourself). If something similar recurs, please re-open it.
