The sane project hasn't released any version in 2 years. Now there is a release, with a lot of new scanners. This backport allows using them in Mageia 7. MGA7-64 Plasma on Lenovo B50 No installation issues apart from the package list above probably incomplete: I see sane-backends-iscan also with new version and installed that one as well. I have a remote connection to an old Epson Photo 2400 (GT 9300 in US speak) and that keeps responding after the update. Better waiting with the OK until someone could test this with a recent rig?
