Description of problem: When I installed the Mageia 7.1 64 bits in a DP43 Intel Motherboard with a usb Ralink 3070 wireless device the linux system use the rt2800usb and rt2800lib modules to support this device but the perfomance with these modules is unstable and poorly wireless connection. When I use this Ralink 3070 usb device in a Windows 7 64 bits partition with the original 3070 driver it operates goodly and stable. I have seen in Internet that another Linux names put these modules in a backlist config file to evade its loading and then they compile the 3070 source driver to produce the corresponding modules rt3070 to use then in their operating system. Please, could you repair this problem and what can I do to use the corresponding rt3070 module in Mageia 7.1 64 bits ...?
Assigning to the kernel/drivers team. Possibly related bug 24033 and bug 25485.
