The current version of hugin installs some libraries to: /usr/lib64/hugin but when starting it, it is unable to find the libraries: hugin: error while loading shared libraries: libhuginbase.so.0.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory The error disappears, when adding /usr/lib64/hugin to ld path. Perhaps it would be a good idea, if hugin installs a file at /etc/ld.conf.d/hugin.conf with /usr/lib64/hugin as entry (After setting the ld path, hugin does not start up properly, but segfault due to some problems with the ati drivers, but I try to invastigate some more and try to report it properly afterwards)
Created attachment 77 [details] The hugin.conf I created in /etc/ld.so.conf so hugin can find it's libraries
Source RPM: (none) => hugin-2010.4.0-1.mga1.x86_64.rpm
with attached hugin.conf it does work for me now. Seems my vendor|fglrx x11 driver was not properly set up.
Please revert you changes and try the next hugin package. Due to a bug in rpm (it's being looked into), you'll have to run: su ldconfig -X manually.
