Note that this one is also already in Cauldron since ~1 day, so it's already being tested
Works ok on x86_64 Laptop with Intel HD Graphics 620
5.1.20-desktop-2.mga7 There were only a few mesa packages on the system but I went straight to the updates. Everything installed smoothly; libstdc++ and clang packages were also pulled in. A huge list of applications and packages require mesa stuff; not much point in singling any of them out but going for some of the OpenGL demos. See https://www.opengl.org/archives/resources/code/samples/glut_examples/mesademos/mesademos.html. glxspheres64 runs OK - from the virtualgl package which comes up in the requires list. Tried bounce, gamma (test patterns), glxgears, offset, reflect, all worked as designed. spin was missing, as reported before (bug 22792?). Retrieved the code from mesademos.zip and compiled it. $ gcc -o spin -lGL -lglut spin.c which raised a warning about default typing. It works though - a very elementary demonstration. texobj.c compiles and runs fine as well, and isosurf. $ gcc -o isosurf -lGLU -lGL -lglut -lXi -lXext -lX11 isosurf.c From the number of warnings from these compilations it looks like the source code may be a little out of date. Installed vegastrike and launched it from the cli; worked through the introductory screens including the comprehensive help screen (Esc) then chickened out. So far mesa seems OK. Giving it the 64-bit OK since it is already in use on different hardware.
