[cloned from bug 25232] Testing old hardware, I used Mga7 64 bit classic install ISO on a USB stick. When i in the start menu select "Memory Test" there comes a message: "error: the kernel is too old for initrd. Press any key to continue" After a few seconds it goes away by itself, and memtest86+ shows up.
This is a bug in the configuration of the CI ISO. The error is harmless and can be ignored. I have fixed it in git, so it should be fixed on the Mageia 8 ISOs.

I have the same message on a recent Intel I5 Core i5-7600 But after few seconds, a reboot occurs. With a DVD Mageia 6, the test and the memory work fine without any error. The main board is MSI Z270 with 8 GB of memory
