Description of problem: As described in the Summary, kmail becomes unusable since the screen becomes filled with these error windows (see the joined screen shots). I thought that deactivating the periodical mail verification in the account configuration would avoid this screen invasion but no. It changes nothing. So the only solution I found to still use my network connection (the other was to disconnect the computer from the internet :-/ ) was to kill all the akonadi processes. It works but kmail becomes completely unusable (I precise that I could still read my email offline when I was disconnected) and kalarm too (see the joined screen shots) ! Have you a better workaround ? Thanks.
