Description Artem Kurashov 2019-07-31 10:20:34 CEST
Linux 5.1.21 is the last 5.1.y kernel to be released. The current actual Linux kernel version is 5.2.5.

We know.

And even if something is "EOL" upstream, does not mean that its EOL in a distro as we can/will add fixes/updates when/if needed..

Having said that, we will update to newer kernel release branch soon-ish, but have delayed it because of reports of various issues and regressions with it, including data corruption on btrfs that some use...

It will come when we know the regression reports seems to be resolved...
Most of the ones I've been tracking has been resolved, or have suggested fixes I will add...

but the btrfs data corruption issues are still being debated..
