Hijinx is a GPLv3 + CC-BY game developed with Godot Engine (package `godot`). I just imported it in Cauldron and would like to provide it to Mageia 7 users as a backport. RPM in core/backports_testing: ============================== hijinx-1.1.0-1.mga7.noarch SRPM in core/backports_testing: =============================== hijinx-1.1.0-1.mga7 Testing procedure: ================== - Install the package. It should pull at least `godot-runner` (and possibly dependencies) if you don't have it installed. - Check the desktop entry in the menu, launch it from there. - Also attempt launching from command line (`hijinx`). - Do basic tests to see if the game works. If you enjoy it, feel free to play it through :)
Mga7, x86_64 hijinx installed smoothly with godot-runner already installed. Hijinx is listed in the Games menu and launches fine. The Options -> Controls menu provides basic help - kept the defaults. Played it for a while - it requires three-fingered action at times - OK for the young and sharp. I had to retire, exhausted. Esc pauses the game to allow options to be changed, change curse (?) - which seems to reset to the starting point, Return to map, and Return to title. Found Choose a curse; this issued a dire warning "The floor is lava - landing is fatal". Oops. Looks like it works.
