Description Frederik Himpe 2011-08-26 11:40:46 CEST
When running urpmi --auto-select, I suddenly got weird errors from aria2:

Excepgtion caught
Exception: [Platform.cc.111] errorCode=1 grcy_check_version() failed.

are2 failed: exited with 1

I retryed with --curl, and then I got an error that curl does not support the rsync protocol, so I guess it was the same problem with aria2.

I reported the same bug in mandriva years ago, and by coincidence it was finally fixed last week: https://qa.mandriva.com/show_bug.cgi?id=53409

Assigning to maintainer now that our maintainers database has an entry for
this package. Please assign back to bugsquad@mageia.org in case of a mistake
from me.

A patch (from mandriva) is provided.

@tv: For the sake of not duplicating work, would it be OK if i apply that patch? Already have it rediffed and applied locally. And could you confirm the fix is correct?

Status: NEW => ASSIGNED

The fix is correct (actually I'm the original reporter @mdv :-) ).
Actually this patch is already in my local git-svn repo so please don't commit, it'll go in next time I use git svn dcommit, else I'll got an error.
Thanks.
