Description of problem:
man page for msec contains extra symbols
'\fB' at start of lines, or
':fP' OR 'fR' at the end of line, or surrounding msec options explanations, or possibly text that should be in a bold font

this occurs in the top two-thirds, above the heading
'DEFINING EXCEPTIONS FOR PERIODIC CHECKS'
but are correctly formatted below that

1. man msec, or
2. man:/msec in konqueror using kioslave

Thierry, this may not be your baby specifically, but you have had dealings with msec before.
I was going to check this out, but have just UNinstalled msec!
