we should restart NTPd on resuming, else we sometimes we loose the syncing. see also http://pavelmachek.livejournal.com/104832.html I saw the same behaviour on mga#1
@ pterjan We don't have a maintainer for this package atm, and you happen to be in the changelog, therefore cc'ing you

Having had a closer look, I don't think I'm the appropiate person to resolve this.

The debian stuff is useless: this was for an older version of pm-utils which has drop this script. The problem is worse now on mga2 since ntpd dies on suspend/resume
I included the reference to give some context to this part being dropped from pm-utils. Anyways, tv, what do you think is the proper place to fix this? In pm-utils, in ifup scripts, or perhaps a cron job to ship with nptd?
Hi, This bug was filed against cauldron, but we do not have cauldron at the moment. Please report whether this bug is still valid for Mageia 2. Thanks :) Cheers, marja

Ping! It is very important for us to know whether this bug is still valid for Mageia 2 or for *current* cauldron (so from after Mageia 2 was released). Please tell us. If you don't reply, we'll have to close this bug as old.

No reply, closing as old. Please reopen when needed and tell for which versions of Mageia and pm-utils this bug is still valid
