Description JanKusanagi 2019-06-16 16:59:37 CEST
Description of problem:

Latest version of Minitube available in Mageia 6's repos can't play any videos. Apparently Google changed something that affects the "signature" parameter in the URLs.
Minitube 3.1 was released with a fix for that, and it's already packaged for Cauldron and tested to be working.

Version in Mageia 6's updates should be also upgraded to 3.1, since the existing package doesn't work at all.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Version 	2.9
Release 	1.mga6

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Launch minitube, search for anything.
2. List of related videos appears.
3. First video fails to play, Minitube skips to second, then to third and so on.

For the record, if 3.1 can't be easily built in Mga6 (apparently it needs newer libmpv, according to David), I think this commit is responsible for the actual fix that matters here:

Please test minitube-2.9-1.1.mga6 in core/updates_testing repo if it fixes issue!

Assigning to QA,

Advisory:
========================

Our current Minitube package can't play any videos anymore. Apparently Google changed something that affects the "signature" parameter in the URLs. So this update fixes this issue.
