Resized Mageia Welcome window showing described fault

M7 Classic Plasma.
The same window resized to replicate the bug.
It indicates that the problem relates to *window size*. The overlapping bottom content happens if the window is too shallow.

@Ben
- You say 'first time' MW is launched. Does it show subsequently if you leave the corrupt window as it is when closing MW? (Here, it re-launches full window).
- If you can reproduce the fault, does re-sizing the window downwards fix it?
- On other desktops, does resizing it 'too small' have the same overlap effect; or correctly introduce a scroll bar? (Sorry, no time just now to try!)
- Does it happen on different tabs, or *only* the one you cite?

in Xfce, Mageia Welcome window is much larger, maybe 1/2 as wide and high again as displayed in Plasma

> - Does it happen on different tabs, or *only* the one you cite?
only "Media Sources"

Hello,
Thanks for the report.
The problem is that font size in Plasma are at double size in this case. Ben's image is 800x700, which is the default, when Lewi's is 400x350.
My question: is this font size automatically selected at first boot or is it your own setting?

automatic at first boot
Comment 10 papoteur 2019-06-15 22:08:45 CEST
Hi Ben,
Can you say me how Plasma is automatically configured?
- which size of the fonts (apparence, fonts)
- which parameter for 'Force PPP of the fonts'
- which scale for the screen (Display and screen, display scaling)

I'm adding a container for the repositories page. Thus, even if the display is reduced, the user can scroll the container.

Hello,
Mageiawelcome 2.00 is coming. I added a test to rise window size when dpi is more then 190 px/in.
I didn't find which values are used in Qt to say what is HiDPI.

Hello,
Is it now OK?
