Description of problem: This bug just appeared with the update to firefox-67.0-1.mga7 On my system, which is in French, firefox-fr-67.0-1.mga7 was also installed without any problems. However, when restarting firefox, I noticed that the "prefered language to display pages" was switched to English. Before this update, the prefered language was set to French. Firefox itself (menu, tabs, notifications, etc.) are still in French. But when I browse a multilingual website, the displayed language is English, whereas it was French before this update. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install Mageia 7 RC round 3 in French language. 2. Use the default Firefox and see the pages are displayed in French (search for anything on duckduckgo.com and see that the results are in French) 2. Run the updates, including the update of firefox 3. Restart firefox and proceed with the same search as before: the results are now in English. The "prefered language to display pages" only offers "English". (English [en-us] and English [en])
Hi, When firefox-67.0-3.mga7 is build (updates_testing), can you test the problem is solved, please? Best regards, Nico.

Sadly, in my tests, firefox-67.0-3.mga7 does not solve the issue. The good news is that, in my tests, the issue only occurs the first time firefox is launched after the update: if you close firefox and launch it again, the parameter "intl.accept_languages" contains the list given by firefox-fr, for example. But I have no clue why firefox 67 has that behaviour.
I found the same problem with firefox 67 on a PC running Ubuntu so I think this is an upstream issue.

Tested today with firefox-67.0-3.mga7 and the prefered languages are still "reset" to English (US) [en-us] and English [en]. And you're right: if you close firefox and open it again, the two lines which were there before the update are back: French [fr] and French (France) [fr-fr] DO come back when firefox is launched for the second time.

Should this bug report be closed now?
The problem is still there with Firefox 68.1.
MAgeia7 installed in Dutch (clean install for M7), now Firefox 68.5, same for Thunderbird I didn't notice since I am used of working on different installation in either Dutch or English. Made sure the firefox-nl and thunderbird-nl packages are installed. Running either of these two, I get the menus etc... in English, but e.g. dolphin and Libreoffice are completely in Dutch.

Can't reproduce this inside M7, Cauldron and even a M7 32 bits on a VM. Closing this OLD.
