Description Marja Van Waes 2019-04-23 20:18:28 CEST
Password reset for privileged users joequant and zombieryushu didn't work, their password resets were triggered after the last one (known to me) that worked, which was the reset triggered by tmb for animtim on 28 March.

Joseph and Zombie both got a "Please come back later" message after maat and stormi triggered a password reset for them, but I'm not sure whether they got that message immediately after opening the link in the reset mail, or after having entered the new password, or...

They cannot login to Bugzilla, so they can't comment in this report.

Stormi noticed the following error in the logs:
[error] Error on Bind: unauthenticated bind (DN with no password) disallowed, referer: https://identity.mageia.org/user/firstlogin?username=zombieryushu&key=[...]

It would be nice if this could be fixed, especially for Joseph Wang, who wants to fix open bugs and has two security bugs among the ones assigned to him.

@ zombieryushu and joequant

Can you please create a new user account, with a different e-mail address, so that you can comment here?

It is unclear when exactly you got the "Please come back later" message: immediately after opening the link in the reset mail, or after having entered the new password, or after finishing the reset process and trying to log in (where??) with the new password. Please tell, it'll increase the chance that the issue will be fixed.

I created a new account with a new E-mail. What do you want me to do now?

Thanks, Thomas :-)

@ zombieryushu and joequant

Please, if things go or went wrong again after the reset triggered by tmb, answer the question below:

Neither of you have logged into Bugzilla with your privileged account... what happened? Without proper feedback there is nothing our sysadmins can do :-(
