How reproducible:


Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Kalarm

2. Immediately see "The Akonadi personal information management service is not running. This application cannot be used without it", below which is a white 'Start' button, when - when selected - Shows the message "The Akonadi personal information management service is not operational".

3. Kalarm unusable..

After a 103-package Cauldron update today the problem has (as with Kalarm) gone away!
