OK. I will reduce the default height from 700 to 650. However, I don't know how the placement will behave. I don't give any instruction on that. Ttoday, the window could be placed in the available space.
What you can do today is reducing slightly the height, closing and launching the application. It restores with the last size.

I have been grabbing the title bar and pulling it down and it stays where i leave it, even after reboot. it was just that ootb, after install, looks are important and small things can detract from the over all User Experience. Like missing icons or text, and poor text sizes / contrast and mouse tool tips, so I look for these types of things. Mageia Welcome, because it is always the first thing to show, gets my critical attention. Hopefully, you are not getting tired of my reports.
