I'm just saying that they are there for a reason and it's even described above in order to make a good report.

For feedback regardless if it's positive or negative I'd rather send an email to the discuss mailinglist (if you're subscribed to it).

I'm happy that you like OBS Studio though.

Hi Kristoffer,

You're right in that we won't, of course, allow an update in Mageia 6 because of new shiny features.

However, Mageia 7 cauldron is still on version obs-studio-21.1.2-5.mga7, I haven't heard of a version freeze, maybe the maintainer finds time to update it, so that the newer version will be in Mageia 7 stable.

I'll change this into a request to update it in Cauldron

I doubt it can, after that, be pushed to the Mga6 backports repository, it seems to require OpenGL version 3.2, but I don't even have that in cauldron, yet:
