Assigning this package request to all packagers collectively. On a voluntary basis, one of them might, if there are no license or other legal issues, want to integrate it to the distribution and maintain it for bug and security fixes.

You might also want to join the packager team to maintain this piece of software: see https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Becoming_a_Mageia_Packager

No response after launching screenkey from the Menu.

In a Konsole, this is what I get:
$ screenkey
bash: /usr/bin/screenkey : /usr/bin/pyhton2: mauvais interpréteur : aucun fichier ou dossier de ce type

I guess I'm missing some python2 dependencies.
Reopened ;)

Can't reproduce here!

Seems your system missing main python2 pkg:

python-2.7.15-10.mga7
Comment 5 Sébastien Morin 2019-03-20 08:12:14 CET
screenkey works after installing python-2.7.15-10.mga7
I have no idea why this was not installed already...
