Description of problem: Cinnamon desktop: double-clicking either the Computer or Wastebin/Trash icons pop an error "This is not a CVS folder", then open Cervisia. The Home icon correctly opens the file manager. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): M7beta2.3 and earlier, possibly since Mageia 6. Installed from Classic x64 ISO as part of 6 desktops. How reproducible: Permananent.
May be relevant: Audio CD desktop icons double-clicked, or right-click default 'Open' also open Cervisia, which is wrong. That could be seperately bugged, but hopefully falls under this one.
Summary: Cinnamon desktop Computer & Wastebin report "This is not a CVS folder", then open Cervisia => Cinnamon desktop Computer & Wastebin icons report "This is not a CVS folder", then open Cervisia
@ Lewis I said yesterday that I'd CC Joseph and Nicolas, because I have no idea what causes this and hope they can help debug the issue. However, I just noticed that Cervisia is a KDE app, so I'm CC'ing KDE team instead of neoclust. If no one replies, then I'll guess its a Cinnamon setting and assign accordingly.

I should have answered sooner. It is almost certainly a Cinnamon affair, nothing to do with KDE/Plasma.

M7beta3 x64 Classic ISO 6 desktop install real h/w, Cinnamon from LightDM I second Len. Re comments 0 & 1, double-clicking desktop: Computer icon Wastebin icon inserted Audio CD icon all correctly open Nemo, the file manager. For us this is 'resolved fixed'; but re comments 5 & 6? Could this really be an architecture difference? @Ben : are you able to comment on a 64-bit multiple d/t install? If you still find a problem, could you edit the bug title to reflect it more accurately?
(In reply to Lewis Smith from comment #9) > @Ben : are you able to comment on a 64-bit multiple d/t install? If you > still find a problem, could you edit the bug title to reflect it more > accurately? just completed a x86 multi DE install, this issue is not apparent. will shortly try a i586 install. if apparent there, will close this bug and create a new one, but link it back to here
All Cinnamon desktop icons do what they should. This was fixed since c8 (end March).
