Description of problem: juffed displays utf8, but after editing it breaks encoding


Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): juffed-0.10-10.git20180410.3.mga7.x86_64.rpm


How reproducible: always


Steps to Reproduce:
1. run juffed
2. edit utf8 text
3. save
4. close juffed
5. open saved file

Currently in Cauldron, 
juffed is still 0.10-10.git20180410.5.mga8

Seems no update done.
No upstream link to a bug report?

Seems upstream project is dead?
Last commit is on 2020-01-03 for a gcc-7 thing.
