Description of problem:
After starting MCC, and then navigating the main categories in the left-hand pane of MCC, no highlighting of the individual categories occurs. However, once an item from the right-hand pane has been selected, this seems to trigger the correct functioning within the main category pane. This behaviour is routine. But, there was an occasion when it behaved normally.

I normally use KDE, but I installed GNOME yesterday and while that is a short time frame, MCC has not exhibited this behaviour in GNOME - though if I go back into Plasma I will see it.

I shall provide a couple of screenshots: MCC1.png is the routine result on starting MCC - prior to clicking about in the right-hand pane to 'wake up' the correct behaviour in the left-hand pane. MCC2.png is expected result.

1. Log in to Plasma desktop
2. Start MCC via desktop icon

Oh, I remember that it could happen that if MCC was started, and say, Software was highlighted to begin with - it would still remain highlighted - even after clicking on different main category items. Only after selecting items from the R/H pane, would the highlighting of individual items in the L/H pane behave as expected.

Sorry for the poor description.

I should have included this SC, demonstrating the 'stuck' highlighting: Hardware has been selected from the L/H pane - R/H pane displays Hardware screen but highlighting remains on Software in L/H pane (until clicking items from R/H screen 'wakes up' the highlighting @ L/H pane.

Already assigned

and seems to work on both Current Cauldron (and M7 under VM) version of MCC with Plasma. Expected result is here like
