Description papoteur 2019-02-24 14:58:35 CET
Description of problem:
Installation of drakwizard should add "Network services" and "Sharing" entries in MCC. This is not the case in cauldron.
In console, we get:
"cannot run /usr/sbin/mgaapplet-config" since it is not installed [Updates Configuration] at /usr/libexec/drakconf line 831
But it doesn't seem related.

This bug is still present in mga7

A workaround is to execute drakwizard in a root terminal

Comment 3 Ingvar Klimenkov 2019-09-18 11:36:07 CEST
Found out that in Mageia 7.1, the path for launching drakwizard in drakconf has changed.
 Treatment:
 Edit page 134 in /usr/libexec/drakconf

#sub is_wizard_installed { -f top(glob("/usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/*/MDK/Wizard/$_[0]")) }

sub is_wizard_installed { -f top(glob("/usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/MDK/Wizard/$_[0]")) }

All !!!
 The drakwizard in drakconf is visible and working.

Advisory
================================
Installation of drakwizard didn't add "Network services" and "Sharing" entries in MCC.
This update restores the initial behaviour.
The update adds also isodumper in Administration tools

MGA7-64 Plasma on Lenovo B50
No installation issues.
I installed drakwizard quite some time ago and I had the "Network services" and "Sharing" entries present in MCC, so I did never experience the problem.
Anyway installing the update leaves these entries OK and adds isodumper in Administration tools, so OK for me.

Comment 8 James Kerr 2019-09-20 17:48:58 CEST
on mga7-64   plasma

packages installed cleanly:
- drakconf-13.22-1.mga7.noarch
- drakconf-icons-13.22-1.mga7.noarch

drakwizard was already installed on this system
but isodumper was not

After this update the missing wizard links were back

After installing isodumper it appeared in System - Administration Tools

Looks OK for mga7-64
