Description of problem: gnome-mplayer 1.09 (gui) - when I choose view playlist the windows starts expanding to the right outside of the screens resolution Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 7beta2 How reproducible: Load music in mplayer playlist. Then click view playlist. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Load music in playlist (mp3, flac. etc.) 2. Click on View - choose playlist 3.
Here it works fine, when I choose view playlist the windows starts expanding to the right and stop at the end of the screen resolution (and not outside).

Mine is 1366x720. Wondering if it is defaulting to 1080P or something else. Have you tried a lower resolution?
Since 2014, gnome-mplayer was only pushed by a bot. Last upstream commit was 4 years ago, do we really need this package?

No issues on dropping it. It was included in the Sound/Video options in Xfce. Why don't we replace that with Clementine?
or Exaile
Dropped. This app really only existed to support gecko-mediaplayer, which is also no longer of any use: http://svnweb.mageia.org/packages/cauldron/task-obsolete/current/SPECS/task-obsolete.spec?r1=1369866&r2=1369935&pathrev=1369939
