Description of problem: Starting the program succesfully on an .mp4 video, it runs OK but none of the controls work. Trying to vew a DVD is worse, all sorts of things do not work. If by luck the video starts, the controls have no effect. To test with Gnome ex Classic ISO. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Mageia7beta2.2 Live Gnome x64 ISO start Feb 2019. totem-3.30.0-1.mga7 How reproducible: The .mp4, every time. With a DVD, variable; but it never works as it should.
M7beta2.2 Classic x64 ISO from end Jan. Gnome desktop. totem-3.30.0-1.mga7 Videos/Totem works correctly on the same .mp4 file and video DVD; so the bug may be spurious. I will await the next issue of Live Gnome, and hope to close it.

Setting to unconfirmed for now, but assigning to the Gnome maintainers, anyway (to avoid missing a future comment about it being reproduced).

Still true beta2.3 Live Gnome x64. Tried both a short .mp4 file; and a video DVD. The bottom controls did not work (but the top right menu & fullscreen ones did).

Correction to above: the top controls do not work either. A DVD displays partially until manipulated at random. In short, Videos is crooked for the Gnome Live ISO. Yet to cross-check from the Classic.
Classic ISO 7beta2.3 x64 Videos/Totem bottom controls do not work under Gnome; but *do* under Cinnamon. Tried a video DVD and .mp4 file.
Summary: Gnome Live Videos (Totem) controls do not work => Gnome Videos (Totem) controls do not work
M7beta3 Classic install, Gnome from SDDM, real x64 h/w totem-3.32.0-1.mga7 The bottom video controls *do* no work (also the top icons).

It's not fixed, no? It's broken under GNOME. There was a newer GTK+3.0 which didn't submit properly. I've fixed the problems and submitted it. Hopefully the cause is GTK+, this as I didn't see a commit or bug related to this problem at GNOME.

@Olav I think you were confused by my typo: (In reply to Lewis Smith from comment #6) > M7beta3 Classic install, Gnome from SDDM, real x64 h/w > totem-3.32.0-1.mga7 > The bottom video controls *do* no work (also the top icons). = The bottom video controls *do* now work (also the top icons). It really is fixed. Gnome, Totem. Whether by GTK+ or not, who cares?
Ah ok, when I tried it it didn't work. Maybe I missed an update or something.
