Description of problem: During boot up to Live session, Auckland set as timezone. after installation timezone is reported by Orage preferences as Antartica / Southpole Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):Mageia-7-beta2-Live-Xfce-i586.iso DATE.txt: Fri Feb 1 19:39:31 CET 2019 How reproducible: two installations / different hardware Steps to Reproduce: 1.during bootup to live sesssion, choose: us keyboard (international), nz english, timezone Auckland. 2.after install from live session and reboot, check Orage preferences for timezone 3.

One can set whatever timezone from Orage panel applet settings and it's not really affected to system clock itself, but to the default timezone of the appointments created with Orage calendar. However, the logic how the default timezone is selected first time in settings is unclear.

The bug is filed against cauldron. Orage was removed from cauldron (upcoming mga8) in June 2020. $ urpmq --obsoletes xfce4-panel orage[< 4.12.1-6]
