Steps to Reproduce:
1.install LXDE from above .iso
2.login and attempt to connect to bluetooth enabled phone

Thanks a lot for reporting the issues you see when iso-testing, Ben! When they're only mentioned on the pad our packagers won't know about them.

Can you please reproduce the issue, but right before you try again, please run, as root:

  journalctl -f 2>&1 | tee pair.log

and let it run while you try to connect again, stop it after it fails and then attach pair.log to this report.

seems not to work in any desktop if installed into a multi DE system.

I'm not sure it tries to detect the phone.

When you try with e.g. bluedevil-wizard, does that detect your phone?

ok, logged into Plasma5 and ran "adapters-system settings module, which reported : Bluetooth adapters

Your default Bluetooth adapter is not visible for remote devices. fix it?

after choosing yes, the phone manager detects bluetooth phone.

Status: NEW => RESOLVED
Resolution: (none) => INVALID
