This is caused by this line in the rpmsrate file: 5 BIGMEM kernel-server-latest Because your machine has 8GB of RAM, the BIGMEM flag is set, and kernel-server-latest is added to the list of packages to install. But the installer has already chosen to install the desktop kernel. In the past the installer would have chosen the server kernel, to let you use all your RAM, but since the Spectre/Meltdown fixes now require PAE to be enabled in the desktop kernel as well, that is no longer necessary. I've removed that line from the rpmsrate file, so this should be fixed in the next ISO build.

still valid Mageia-7-beta2-i586.iso DATE.txt: Sat Feb 16 00:13:50 CET 2019
Strange. I've just retested with both beta1 and beta2 ISOs. beta1 installed both desktop and server kernels. beta2 only installed the desktop kernel. Can you attach the report.bug.xz from your beta2 install.
Created attachment 10847 [details] heres one from an install I have just completed :-)
That's installing a 4.19.13-1 kernel, which means it is a beta2 round 1 ISO! It's found the ISO on /dev/sda13 in /M7/Mageia-7-32/Mageia-7-beta2-i586.iso.
Listed in QA Riseup pad as bug for 7Beta3 but is it still valid ? Anyone that knows please update the bug (close or change keywords) ? Thanks
