What is that usb device ?
Comment 2 Bart Simons 2011-09-07 14:40:51 CEST
It is a webcam. The name is USB2.0 UVC 2M Webcam. It is a built in webcam on a Asus N53S notebook. After I disabled the CMOS in the BIOS booting was ok.

I can confirm the same problem on my Asus K73E notebook. There the webcam identifies itself as made by Azurewave and being the USB 2.0 UVC VGA WebCam.

The problem is not present in kernel 2.6.38-8-desktop-4.mga.
