Description of problem: The purpose of Mageia Welcome "Applications" screen is to help the new Mageia user to find and install popular software that he/she is most likely going to need. However, the information provided can be misleading since MW doesn't make the difference between regular and tainted versions (codecs, VLC...). For instance, MW says video codecs have been installed next to both the regular and the tainted version of this RPM, even if the tainted repositories have not been enabled and the tainted RPMs have not been installed. This needs to be fixed, so the new user knows exactly which version is installed, and can decide whether he/she wants to install the tainted version or not. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): mageiawelcome-1.20-1.mga7 How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install Mageia :-) Do not enable online media during install. 2. Follow MW steps on first boot. Do not enable tainted repositories. 3. In the "Application" tab, see that both "Video codecs" (regular and tainted) are considered installed, which is not true. Same for VLC and other software concerned by tainted versions.

Hello, Should be OK in next release. If tainted is installed, only this entry is now displayed.
