The packages that should be rebuilt with 6.0.0 are: 

mingw-headers-5.0.4-2.mga7.src.rpm 
mingw-crt-5.0.4-2.mga7.src.rpm 
mingw-winpthreads-5.0.2-2.mga7.src.rpm 

Fortunately all three packages use the same source file:

mingw-w64-v6.0.0.tar.bz2

Thus to use the above SPECs, extract the tgz file, wget the above .bz2 file into rpmbuild/SOURCES, and rebuild all three specs.

The need for this update came about from the latest release of DXVK.

Thanks for your report. I removed the UPSTREAM keyword, because we use it to show there is nothing for us to fix, yet, because we are waiting for upstream to provide a fix ;-)

Thank you Marja, I believed that "UPSTREAM" meant that there was an existing fix upstream, I'll try to decipher the keywords better.  

I also appreciate how responsive and professional the people from Mageia have been with my requests. I'll try to do what I can to give any bug reports I submit value to the distribution.

Just giving a nudge on this one, I noticed that mingw-gcc had been bumped to 8.3 and since MGA7 is now vulkan ready being able to build DXVK with all native tools would be a plus.

Just another nudge for Mingw 6.0 over 5.0 for MGA7.

So mingw 6.0.0 stack now up-to-date on Cauldron!
