Description of problem: Plasma desktop settings wallpaper window has no scrollbars and reopening it causes plasmashell to crash and restart Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 5.14.2 Steps to Reproduce: 1. Right-click Plasma desktop and select "Desktop settings" 2. Notice, that wallpapers window has no scrollbars. Rezising window or two-finger scrolling makes all wallpapers visible. 3. Close opened settings window. 4. Repeat point 2 5. Plasmashell crashes and restarts

It seems that when the desktop is in "Folder view", then the desktop settings window behaves better. But once switched to Folder view, then there is no simple way to switch back to Desktop view - plasma crashes, restarts and you are back at Folder view.
Should be something Mageia (packaging) specific, as in KDE neon Plasma 5.14.2 there are no such problems.

It is still valid with Mageia's KDE Plasma 5.14.5.

Yes, it is still valid with Plasma 5.15.0. Tested in a VM. Plasma still crashes, when you set the layout to "Desktop". I doubt very much, that it is an upstream issue. It cannot be valid for several months and version numbers. Ulrich
Can confirm - Plasma 5.15.0 did not make it better. Even worse - now I was unable to activate the scrollbar at all. As stated in Comment 6 - it is something Mageia (packaging?) specific as it works just OK in KDE neon. Just checked with KDE neon 5.15.
Installed missing dependency (according to just building plasma-desktop-5.15.0-3.mga7) qqc2-desktop-style and all symptoms of the bug seem to be fixed now. Thanks for the fix! I guess we can mark this bug as fixed now...
