Description of problem: On a fresh installation of Mageia 6.1 using Mageia-6.1-LiveDVD-Plasma-x86_64-DVD.iso, amarok cannot be installed. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): amarok-2.8.90-6.mga6.x86_64.rpm How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install Mga 6.1 from LiveDVD or use an up-to-date Mga6 system. 2. Use MCC to search and install amarok 3. See the list of dependencies contains kde-l10n-ast, which is very unexpected, and is going to cause all dependencies to fail being installed (see attached file). Note that the system used is in French, not in Asturian :) 4. First error message: Afin de poursuivre la mise à jour, le paquetage suivant doit être désinstallé : kmouth-17.12.2-1.mga6.x86_64 (en raison de conflit avec kde-l10n-ast[< 17.12.0-1]) which is basically saying that kmouth needs to be uninstalled because it conflicts with kde-l10n-ast, which is not even installed yet! At this stage, if you refuse, the installation of amarok is aborted. :) If you accept, amarok and its dependencies will be downloaded, and you will run into another error message : 5. Second error message: see the attached file because this one is huge! To conclude: amarok is not installed!

Amarok 2.9.0 can now be installed without any problem on Mageia 7 beta2 (Feb 16), so I suppose this can be closed as fixed. Tested on a fresh install from Mageia-7-beta2-x86_64.iso
thanks closing
