Description of problem: When booting the newly installed system, sddm is in English, no matter what language was selected and used during the installation process. SDDM is then in French, as expected, when the system is booting for the second time. Nothing was done by the user in between. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): $ rpm -qa | grep "sddm" sddm-0.14.0-13.2.mga6 sddm-kcm-5.12.2-1.mga6 How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: Mageia-6.1-LiveDVD-Plasma-x86_64-DVD.iso was used to make a fresh install in a VM. Right away (1st screen), the French language is selected. The installation menu is switched into French. In the first screen, the pre-selected language is French, and this language is selected when clicking "next". The whole installation process is in French. Then, the DVD is removed and the system is rebooted. The rest of the installation process continues, in French (online media installed, users added, etc.). Then comes the login screen (sddm) for the first time. The date is in French (see screenshot attached), but sddm is in English. The user logs in successfully, then reboots immediately. SDDM is now in French! It would be very nice if sddm could use the language chosen during installation from the very beginning! :-)

This has been fixed since the Mga7-beta2 ISOs, and it is certainly fixed in the newly released beta2 round 3 (released today), so I suppose this could be closed now.
