Thanks for the bug report. Did you start your Mageia 6.1 Live iso in Live mode and then try to install from Live mode? Please do that again and, when you hit this bug again, please open a terminal, become root (by just typing "su", no need to give a password) and run: journalctl -b > logs.txt and attach log.txt to this bug report. If you didn't first start in Live mode, I suggest doing that now, and, if the issue occurs again, create logs.txt as explained above. (If you skip Live mode, then you'll need to switch to tty2 with Ctrl+Alt+F2, login there as user "live" without password and become root by typing "su", issue the same command, and then you'll need to mount a USB-key to copy /home/live/logs.txt to it to later attach it to this report)

Mageia 6 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2019-09-30. It is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates.
