Description of problem:
encfs: Wrong version installed. The required version is 1.9.1
encfsctl: Wrong version installed. The required version is 1.9.1
fusermount: Correct version found

I also see if I want to use CryFS, PV show it is wrong version: cryfs: Wrong version installed. The required version is 0.9.6. But I do not or can find cryfs to install on Mga6

How reproducible:
I would assume running Mga6 and current release of Plasma Vault.

Steps to Reproduce:
Install encfs and plasma vault.

I assume you get this version message when trying to run Plasma vault ?
I edited the summary accordign to that assumption.

I see cryfs as a separate problem.  I created another issue for it; please follow up Bug 23692 - cryfs needed by plasma vault

In Cauldron for now plasma-vault recommends encfs >= 1.9.1!

It seems to be a dependency issue on plasma-vault side, not much I can do on encfs side.

Nop, the version in mga6 is too old! plasma-vault needs encfs >= 1.9.1 and we have 1.8.1

That's not compliant with our update policy, which is to minimize code changes, and only for security reasons. I have no clue of the potential impact of upgrading encfs from 1.8 to 1.9. I won't do it myself, but feel free to do if you are ready to assume negative side-effects.
