The version of Node.js we have in Mageia is 6.10.3. The recommended version for use is now 8.12.0 (LTS) with the current version being 10.10.0. Many common Node.js packages no longer work on the 6 series, so I request that Mageia either moves to the 8 series please, or deprecates the rpm so that folk know to either install from the Node.js site or use nvm instead.

Mageia 6 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2019-09-30. It is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates.
