Description of problem: On my mageia 6 I can not update to google-chrome-beta-70.0.3538.16-1.x86_64 because it now requires package liberation-fonts. Package fonts-ttf-liberation is installed of course on mageia 6. Maybe David Walser can do the same what he did for bug https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=22144 ? I think fonts-ttf-liberation package must be updated to also virtually provide liberation-fonts. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): fonts-ttf-liberation-2.00.1-5.mga6 Workaround: I forced the installation with urpmi --allow-force google-chrome-beta-70.0.3538.16-1.x86_64 but non savvy linux users won't know that of course.
This bug was reported for cauldron, too, see bug 23573 It was fixed for cauldron with this commit http://svnweb.mageia.org/packages/cauldron/fonts-ttf-liberation/current/SPECS/fonts-ttf-liberation.spec?r1=1256236&r2=1258973 Assigning to all packagers collectively, since there is no registered maintainer for this fonts package.
