Description of problem:
meshlab-1.3.1-16 freezes (or runs very slowly) when trying to select a zone inside a rectangle.

the problem was reported very often on the web and new versions of meshlab are corrected for that. I personally tested meshlab-1.3.2 on ubuntu and it works well in a VM. 

The problem was not present in mageia5 which had an older version of meshlab

How reproducible?:

At any time for me but for others it might apparantly be related to the hardware (graphics card, processor) but i may be wrong on that (according some reading on forum)


Steps to Reproduce:
1. just open an stl file and try to select vertices

This looks like it was filed under the wrong component. It also looks obsolete now since mga7 shipped with meshlab 2016.12.
