Description of problem: If I'm in MATE and want to safely unmount a mounted USB drive I have to do that via the file browser and right click there and choose Unmount for it to work. How reproducible: Everytime. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Login to MATE. 2. Connect a USB drive and see it appears on the desktop. 3. Now right click on the USB drive on the desktop and choose to safely unmount it. 4. System freezes so that the clock stops running as well.
