Running alienarena with gdb at this time the game window freezes the entire desktop session except for the clock. Had to SSH into my laptop and kill the process in order to unfreeze my desktop. This is for the Cinnamon desktop.
I thought we removed the Ode headers. Only in Cauldron?

It seems it was compiled against a bad version of ODE. I am trying to package the new version that accepts a more recent Ode lib.
Status: NEW => ASSIGNED
It even crashes now in Cauldron.
Created attachment 10465 [details] Proposal spec I have to mention that http://red.planetarena.org/files/ does not contain the same source file as the spec file says should be there so had to link it to my local build. Please feel free to find a way to change the Source0 row into something else. I also encountered this error trying to build with my spec file that I adapted: checking for ode/ode.h... no ./configure: line 413: test: ode.h: integer expression expected configure: error: "with-system-libode: Required ODE header file ./configure: line 302: return: ode.h: numeric argument required ./configure: line 312: exit: ode.h: numeric argument required error: Bad end status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.N4bnTg (%build) rpm -q libode-devel told me that the package isn't installed, but if I check for lib64ode-devel I get: lib64ode-devel-0.15.2-2.mga7 It seems like this game needs header files from libode-devel, but urpmi installs lib64ode-devel if I do urpmi alienarena.spec to install all the BuildRequires in it.
