Description Brenton Horne 2018-07-06 22:14:51 CEST
Description of problem:
The text of the top sub-tab (or second-level tab might be better terminology) is invisible in system settings under KDE when the tab is initially opened. When I click another sub-tab this top sub-tab becomes visible. The URL above is to a screenshot showing you what I mean. This seems to occur independently of theme or colouring selected. As I realize this bug tracker is really for bugs that occur in officially packaged themes and the default colours I checked if it occurred under the default Breeze theme and it did, it also occurred under the "Breeze No Shadows" theme.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): system settings 5.12.2, with Breeze 5.42.0.

How reproducible:
Occurs repeatedly with every theme.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open system settings
2. Select, for example, the "Workspace Theme" tab
3. Look at the top sub-tab (the one entitled "Look And Feel" if the text is visible then you have reproduced by bug.

Under dark themes it is visible. It seems silly that it is invisible under light themes, the default of KDE.
Comment 2 Dave Hodgins 2018-07-06 23:49:45 CEST
Doesn't happen on my systems. First thing to try is to create a new user,
logout then login with the new user and see if the problem occurs for that
user.

If it doesn't then it's a problem somewhere in the first user's config
settings for kde.

It does appear under a new, completely unconfigured user account I made.
Comment 4 Aurelien Oudelet 2020-08-16 17:41:10 CEST
Mageia 6 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2019-09-30. It is no longer
maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug
fix updates.

Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you plan
to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version' to
a later Mageia version.

Bug Reporter: Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that we
weren't able to fix it before Mageia 6's end of life. If you are able to
reproduce it against a later version of Mageia, you are encouraged to click
on "Version" and change it against that version of Mageia.

Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's
lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a more recent
Mageia release includes newer upstream software that fixes bugs or makes them
obsolete.

If you would like to help fixing bugs in the future, don't hesitate to join the
packager team via our mentoring program [1] or join the teams that fit you
most [2].
