Created attachment 10267 [details] As root, ran "urpmi --test python3-pylint-gui 2>&1 | tee junk.txt" I ran as requested. I will try installing the dependencies manually. Software control never said there was a dependency.
The console log for the install said to install the following dependency. tkinter3-3.5.3-1.4.mga6.x86_64.rpm Software Control showed only the following available. tkinter3-3.5.3-1.1.mga6.x86_64.rpm tkinter3-3.5.3-1.mga6.x86_64.rpm I terminated SC, and MCC completely, and restarted them. Then tkinter3-3.5.3-1.4.mga6.x86_64.rpm was listed as available. I had SC install tkinter3-3.5.3-1.4.mga6.x86_64.rpm, and then python3-pylint-gui. They were both successful. You can close the bug report. Thank you very much for your professionalism, courtesy, and responsiveness.
Thanks for the feedback, Henry, I'm glad it got solved. I'll close it as worksforme, because I have no clue what may have caused the issue, so no idea whether it might affect more users. If anyone else sees this issue, then please say so!
