Description Martin Whitaker 2018-06-24 22:34:52 CEST
[split out from bug 23202]
Looking at kdeplasma-addons, the main problem is that an older version has

 Obsoletes: plasma-runner-audioplayercontrol < 4.14.3-5
 Provides: plasma-runner-audioplayercontrol = %version-%release

but the latest version does not, so the old version is being selected to replace plasma-runner-audioplayercontrol, because nothing now obsoletes plasma-runner-audioplayercontrol.

I think you need to restore the

 Obsoletes: plasma-runner-audioplayercontrol < 4.14.3-5

in kdeplasma-addons (but I'm not the urpm expert ;-) ).

It might also be good to remove the duplicate obsoletes listed by Thierry in bug 23037 comment 56, but they don't actually cause a problem in my tests.

Both mga5 and mga6 are EOL.
