Theme name: Adwaita Kernel version = 4.14.44-desktop-2.mga6 Distribution=Mageia release 6 (Official) for i586 CPU=AMD Athlon(tm) XP 3000+ Since the last update, mageia control center (drakconf) is empty, blank : no icons. I have to open the directory /usr/bin to find the scripts I need to configure my computer. Thank you for your help !
Hi f m, Thanks for the bug report. Have you tried whether rebooting helps? Can you give a list of the updates that you installed right before this happened? You can get the list with e.g. rpm -qa --last | head -n20 Please adjust "20" to the correct number that's needed to include all last updates. Thanks :-)

Also, if you run drakconf in a terminal, what is printed there?
(In reply to David Walser from comment #2) > Also, if you run drakconf in a terminal, what is printed there? Hi David, When I run drakconf in a terminal, the Mageia Control Center is displayed, but without any icons inside : no change ! Thanks

I rebooted. I opened the Mageia Control Center. All the icons were displayed. I launched a system update. When the system update was finished, I rebooted again. I opended the Mageia Control Center : no icons displayed. All the drak* scripts are available in the directory /usr/bin and work. Thanks
(In reply to f m from comment #3) > When I run drakconf in a terminal, the Mageia Control Center is displayed, > but without any icons inside : no change ! That doesn't answer my question. What is printed in the terminal in which you ran it?
hi David, You can read below what is printed in the terminal. [fm@localhost ~]$ su Mot de passe : [root@localhost fm]# drakconf Too late to run INIT block at /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.22.2/i386-linux-thread-multi/Glib/Object/Introspection.pm line 257. Ignore the following Glib::Object::Introspection & Gtk3 warnings Subroutine Gtk3::main redefined at /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.22.3/Gtk3.pm line 525. [root@localhost fm]#
Mageia 6 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2019-09-30. It is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates. Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version' to a later Mageia version. Bug Reporter: Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that we weren't able to fix it before Mageia 6's end of life. If you are able to reproduce it against a later version of Mageia, you are encouraged to click on "Version" and change it against that version of Mageia. Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a more recent Mageia release includes newer upstream software that fixes bugs or makes them obsolete. If you would like to help fixing bugs in the future, don't hesitate to join the packager team via our mentoring program [1] or join the teams that fit you most [2].
