Description of problem: In my case, LANGUAGE=fr_CA.UTF8:fr, and grsync contains support for fr_FR. grsync displays in English. However if use "LANGUAGE=fr_FR grsync", the French language is displayed as expected. How reproducible: Invoke grsync without specifying language, when user's langage is supported by grsync, but grsync specifies a different country code. What should happen : If the user's language is supported but not the associated country specified in grsync, as long as the user specifies the language alone, display the user's language. A workaround when invoking from console : Use "LANGUAGE=* grsync" to invoke grsync, where * is the language with the country of grsync The desktop used is Maté.

Language test OK here on 64 bit; launching "grsync" => my local language, Swedish "LANGUAGE=en grsync" => English "LANGUAGE=sv grsync" => Swedish "LANGUAGE=qq grsync" => English (stupidity test) I have not tried to perform syncing, assume andré did that.
